Thought on Christianity and the Fear of Science

Given that truth cannot contradict truth, then the fact is that Christianity–which is truth–has nothing to fear from the advancement of true and ideal science, but since, in reality, science only comes through scientists, and since scientists are as biased, fallen, flawed, sinful, and dishonest as the rest of humanity, and since scientists can be just as susceptible to motivated reasoning and intellectual prejudices as anyone else is, then the fact of the matter is that while the Christian has nothing to fear from science, he does have something to fear from scientists; as such, what this teaches us is that true skepticism and caution is always beneficial whenever dealing with any scientific claim, whether or not it supports your own position, for only through caution and skepticism can solid rational acceptance of a scientific claim be justified.
